美國聯邦海事委員會(fmc)周四宣布了其新成立的國家托運人咨詢委員會的成員名單。
該委員會由24名成員組成，平均分為從美國出口貨物和從美國進口貨物的人員，他們將就國際海運運輸系統的競爭力、可靠性、完整性和公平性等政策向委員會提供建議。
“當前的貨運挑戰表明，我的同事rebecca dye建議國會在fmc建立托運人咨詢委員會是多么有先見之明。?i和其他委員需要迅速了解每天都在處理海運現實問題的進口商和出口商的觀點。我們也需要他們來幫助指導我們的努力，以及fmc之外的人來改進這個系統，使它對美國的托運人更容易、更公平、更高效。我由衷地感謝所有自愿為我所知道的這個無價的委員會服務的人，”fmc主席daniel b. maffei說。
委員會成員任期至2024年12月31日。
